About Oscar
I have been a science teacher and lab instructor for over 15 years - I have been teaching elementary and middle school science. I have participated in national science competitions leading a group of students to a national competition in science and engineering. I have a degree in Premedical Science/Biology and have also tutored high school science. I am able to explain things simply, logically, and compassionately. I also have an understanding of how students learn, that allows me to be able to explain topics and concepts to students so that they understand clearly, as well as being able to understand where students are having trouble understanding in order to correctly explain concepts and ideas.
